Wandering around the Winton Wetlands, Victoria [photos]

The Winton Wetlands is a beautiful area and we were lucky enough to be able to spend the night there.

It’s a three hour drive from Melbourne so we left in the afternoon, set up our tent and shot the sunset.

After eating some snacks we went for a little walk under the full moon. We didn’t even need a flashlight because it was so bright even though it was in the middle of the night! We also bumped into some kangaroos here and there which is pretty cool.

We set the alarm for sunrise and went for a paddle on the lake. Such a good way to spend the weekend!

Here are some of the best photos I’ve taken there!

Have you been at the Winton Wetlands yet? 🙂
